Tourism in Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken is one of the main sources of income today. The village has its own health resort administration. Peace and recreation can be enjoyed here fully. More than 100km of sign-posted hiking paths with refuges and resting benches lead into the nearby environment.

On the spot of the Christus-church, which was built in the year 1966, stood a school and prayer house before. This was built in the year 1854. Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken also has a forest public swimming pool, village community centre and a fire brigade. The village is also well-known through the Sösespatzen, choir and traditional costume group, which is by now known beyond German borders. The group was founded in the year 1966.
